The University of Ghana has suspended 14 students for two academic years over misconduct and breaches of university regulations.
In a statement released on Monday, the university said the disciplinary actions were the outcome of investigations conducted by its Disciplinary Committee. The suspended students are prohibited from participating in any academic or extracurricular activities during the suspension period.
In a separate but related matter, 97 students have been sanctioned for various forms of examination malpractice. These actions followed formal hearings where students were found to have violated exam regulations.
In addition, two students received official reprimands for behavior deemed inappropriate under university standards.
The university reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining discipline and upholding academic integrity across all levels of its operations.
