Renowned Ghanaian actor and TV personality, Akwasi Boadi — affectionately known as Akrobeto — was involved in a road accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway but miraculously walked away unscathed.
The crash happened on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Ohene Nkwanta in Odumasi, part of the Asante Akyem Central Municipality, during his journey to Kumasi.
According to eyewitness Peter Mensah, a local taxi driver, a tricycle (popularly called “Aboboyaa”) abruptly swerved into the actor’s lane.
While trying to prevent a crash, a heavy-duty truck trailing Akrobeto’s car slammed into his vehicle from behind. The impact caused the truck to drag his car — registered GW 635-24 — for a short distance.
Despite the terrifying incident, Akrobeto emerged completely unharmed, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
