An unidentified man has been found dead in a stream at Kings Down, a community in the Oforikrom municipality of the Ashanti Region, in the aftermath of heavy rainfall on Tuesday.
Residents made the grim discovery early Wednesday morning, June 4, with the body partially submerged in the water. Locals suspect the man may have been swept away by surging floodwaters during the torrential rains.
As of now, police and emergency responders have not yet recovered the body, and investigations are expected to begin soon.
