The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has alerted the public to a dangerous recruitment scam being spread online, particularly via the fraudulent website GOLERNERSHUB.COM.
In an official press release dated June 2, 2025, and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Immigration and Head of Public Affairs, M. Amoako-Atta, the GIS made it clear that it has no connection to the website or any recruitment activity currently being advertised.
The GIS stressed that no recruitment exercise has been approved by the government, and it has not authorized any individual, group, or third-party platform to distribute or sell recruitment or protocol forms.
Citizens were reminded that authentic GIS recruitment notices will only be published through official government channels, including national newspapers and the GIS’s verified communication outlets.
“Our Intelligence Unit, working with state security services, is actively investigating the scam and pursuing those responsible,” the statement revealed.
The GIS strongly advises the public to ignore all communications from GOLERNERSHUB.COM and similar sites, warning that engaging with these entities is entirely at one’s own risk.
Stay alert, verify before you apply, and help stop the spread of online recruitment fraud.
