Ghanaian Highlife icon KK Fosu has paid a moving tribute to his longtime friend and fellow musician Dada KD, describing him as his “music hero” whose legacy will echo through generations.

KK Fosu, visibly shaken by the news, revealed that Dada KD’s death came as a complete shock. “We were very close. I didn’t know he was ill, and he was even preparing to perform at the Amakye Dede concert in London, just like I am,” he said in an interview.

The singer, who is still recovering emotionally from a near-fatal accident last year, added, “His passing hits hard. He was my hero, and we shared so much in common—both personally and musically.”
