
Renowned Ghanaian Highlife legend, Nana Kwaku Duah, widely known by his stage name Dada KD, has sadly passed away.
The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed, leaving fans in shock as the news ripples through the entertainment world.
Dada KD was a celebrated figure in Ghana’s music scene, known for his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. His musical legacy includes timeless hits such as Fatia Fata Nkrumah, Tekyere Ma, Ene Menye, Wosuro a Wondi, and Honey Love. In 2004, he was honored with the Best Male Vocal Artist award at the Ghana Music Awards UK.
His untimely death comes just days before he was scheduled to perform in London on May 25, alongside notable acts like Obrafour, Slim Buster, and Kojo Blakk.
Tributes have flooded social media since the announcement. Gospel musician Empress Gifty posted a simple yet powerful message: “Dada KD,” accompanied by a heart emoji.
