King Promise Urges Ghanaian Artists to Support One Another

King Promise calls for a collective effort among Ghanaian artists to inspire and elevate the music industry

King Promise, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artist of the Year, has shed light on the harmful effects of unhealthy competition within the Ghanaian music industry.

He stressed that the only way to elevate the industry is through unity, rather than individualism.

The hitmaker behind ‘Terminator’ believes that collaboration is key. “We can’t take Ghana to the world by moving individually,” he said. “I make an effort to involve my brothers in the industry, and we need to come together as one to make the necessary changes.”

Speaking in an interview, King Promise added, “It’s time we stop seeing each other as competition and instead let our successes inspire us to do better. We need to push forward as a unit.”

He called for a shift in mindset, urging fellow artists to view each other’s success as motivation. “I’m not your enemy,” he explained. “When you see your brother achieving something, let it drive you, not discourage you.”

King Promise’s call for solidarity highlights the importance of collective growth in the industry, as artists come together to take Ghanaian music to the global stage.
