Egyptian Star Reaches 185 Premier League Goals, Closing in on Andy Cole’s Record

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has moved into fifth place on the Premier League’s all-time goalscoring chart after netting in Liverpool’s dominant 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

The Egyptian forward’s latest strike brings his Premier League goal tally to 185, placing him just two goals behind former Manchester United striker Andy Cole, who sits in fourth with 187 goals. The all-time leaderboard is still topped by Alan Shearer with 260 goals, followed by Harry Kane (213) and Wayne Rooney (208).

Salah has been in exceptional form this season, registering a remarkable 56 goal contributions—goals and assists combined—in just 48 appearances across domestic and European competitions.

Since arriving at Liverpool in 2017, Salah has become one of the most prolific players in Premier League history. Notably, he set the record for the most goals in a 38-game season with 32 goals during the 2017-18 campaign.

His latest milestone is a testament to his consistency, skill, and impact at the highest level of English football, further cementing his legacy as one of the league’s greatest forwards.
