“I Will Work With Any DCE Appointed by the President” – Atwima Mponua MP

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Seth Osei Akoto, has declared his commitment to working with any District Chief Executive (DCE) appointed by President Mahama, regardless of political affiliation.

Speaking during his “Thank You Tour” across seven communities in the constituency, the newly elected MP emphasized the importance of unity and development over partisan politics.

“This is about cooperation and progress. The local government structure, particularly the role of the DCE, is vital in ensuring effective administration and development at the district level,” he stated. “Together with the DCE, we will ensure Atwima Mponua gets its fair share of the national cake.”

The MP visited communities including Abompe, Beposo, Berdaabour, Kyenkyemtaa, Kwamedwaa, and Mansaso to express his gratitude for their support during the recent elections.

Addressing the constituents, Hon. Akoto urged them to come together and work towards a common goal of development and prosperity. He also reassured the people that he represents all residents of Atwima Mponua, not just members of the NPP.

“I am the MP for everyone. Whether you voted for me or not, my doors are open,” he said.

He further announced plans to open a constituency office in Nyinahin, where all constituents will be welcomed and their concerns heard.
