Applicants Urge Gov’t to Resolve CLOGSAG Concerns and Avoid Another Strike

Applicants at the Births and Deaths Registry urge the government to settle disputes and ensure uninterrupted services.

Applicants at the Greater Accra Regional Office of the Births and Deaths Registry are calling on the government to swiftly address the concerns of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) to avert another strike.

CLOGSAG had previously launched a strike on February 20, protesting the political appointment of Samuel Adom Botchway as the Births and Deaths Registrar. This strike, which disrupted vital government services, was later suspended, restoring normal operations.

In interviews, applicants emphasized the importance of the government responding to CLOGSAG’s demands to ensure smooth service delivery and prevent future disruptions.
