C\R: six arrested,3 others on the run after raping two JHS students at Kasoa Agada
Ofaakor police District command has arrested 6 boys for allegedly raping two JHS students of Gada M/A Basic School in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Report gathered revealed that, 4 suspects attend the same school with the victims and two are in the same class with the victims.
Report says, the 5 out of the 6 boys who have been arrested are all 15yrs of age only one who is a town boy called “Bulldog” is 19yrs of age.
Source say, the victims who are all 15yrs of age had closed late around 6pm from inter-school Gala competition on Friday 21st February, 2025 together with two suspects who are their classmate were going home and upon reaching the section of the road some guys came out from the bush harassing the victims sexually on the roadside and later on dragged the two girls into the bush and raped them.
The victims parents reported the case to their teachers the on Monday leading to the arrest of two suspects on Wednesday, they also mentioned others name and the police arrested four others making it six arrest of suspects in total.
Police source say, the suspects are believed to be nine and for that three remaining suspects are on the run as police make efforts for their arrest.
A family member of one of the victims who agreed to speak to journalists off camera with his name hidden for security reason narrated the incident in details.
