Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere, immediate former MP for Atwima Nwabiagya South, has called on delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to boldly select Bryn Acheampong, the current MP for Abetifi, as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 elections.
Describing Acheampong as a strong unifying figure, Anhwere highlighted his consistent financial support to the party over the years.
In an interview on Mabesh FM’s morning show with Aduanaba Kofi Ampong Emmanuel, Anhwere emphasized that Acheampong’s candidacy would bring much-needed unity and integrity to the NPP, noting that unity in the party has always led to electoral success.
“If there must be change, it has to be Bryn Acheampong. He embodies boldness, unity, and forward-thinking. We need a leader who can make tough decisions and stand by them, and Bryn is that leader,” Anhwere concluded.
