Arsenal Women are set to host all 11 of their Women’s Super League (WSL) home matches at Emirates Stadium during the upcoming 2025-26 season.
The Gunners had previously designated the Emirates as their primary home last season, staging nine WSL games there with an impressive average attendance of 34,110.
While Arsenal, who were crowned European champions in Lisbon last month, will begin the defense of their Women’s Champions League title at Meadow Park—their long-standing home—all league phase games in the competition’s new format will be played there. Should they advance to the knockout stage, subsequent Champions League matches would be held at the 60,704-capacity Emirates.
All of Arsenal’s domestic cup home games will continue to be played at Meadow Park in Borehamwood, ensuring that the WSL matches receive the larger stage consistently throughout the season.
“For us, this is just the beginning, and bringing every WSL match to the Emirates is another step for more supporters to be part of this special journey,” stated Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers.
Arsenal reported selling over 415,000 tickets in the 2024-25 season, marking a 20% increase from the previous campaign. With all WSL home matches now at the Emirates, the club will introduce a dedicated season ticket for the women’s team at the stadium for the first time.
The Arsenal Women Supporters’ Club expressed their delight, saying, “We are delighted to hear that all WSL home games will be played at Emirates Stadium next season. This allows more people than ever to experience a WSL matchday and help Arsenal to build on the success we achieved in Lisbon.”
Other WSL clubs, including Aston Villa and Leicester City, successfully hosted all their home league games at their main club grounds (Villa Park and King Power Stadium, respectively) last season. It was also recently announced that Goodison Park will become the home of Everton’s women’s team next season, following the decision to scrap plans to demolish the 132-year-old stadium. With Everton’s men’s team moving to their new 53,000-seater arena at Bramley-Moore Dock this summer, the 39,572-capacity Goodison Park will become the largest dedicated women’s football stadium in England.
