President John Mahama has announced the formation of a special inter-ministerial committee tasked with executing the recommendations from the 2025 National Economic Dialogue.
Speaking on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, as he received the final report from the dialogue, President Mahama revealed that the committee will be composed of representatives from key ministries, alongside observers from civil society and the private sector.
The body will ensure a coordinated, transparent, and efficient rollout of the agreed reforms.
“In the next few days, I will issue an executive directive to formally establish this committee,” he stated, emphasizing its critical role in translating policy proposals into measurable outcomes.

He also noted that the committee is expected to release a comprehensive implementation bulletin by August 2025.
Describing the dialogue report as more than a typical policy document, Mahama said, “This report is not just a set of recommendations—it represents a national covenant: between government and citizens, evidence and execution, vision and reality.”
The President expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for participating in and supporting the dialogue process, vowing that the government will uphold its end of the deal.
“We asked for your trust in this process, and you gave it. Now we must deliver—honestly, urgently, and with discipline. We will lead with transparency and put Ghana’s interests first,” he affirmed.
