The Member of Parliament for Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Michael Kwasi Aidoo, has criticized the Minister for Energy, John Jinapor, over the ongoing power outages—popularly known as dumsor.
Speaking in an interview on Mabesh FM 92.7MHz on Wednesday morning with Aduanaba Kofi Ampong, Hon. Aidoo expressed disappointment in what he described as the minister’s failure to provide concrete solutions to the worsening power crisis.
He called on the minister to focus less on making public statements and more on implementing effective measures to resolve the issue.
“The energy minister must stop chasing headlines and get to work. Ghanaians need stable electricity, not excuses,” the MP said.
Hon. Aidoo urged the government to act swiftly and decisively to address the power challenges affecting households and businesses across the country.
