Ntim Fordjour Fires Back: ‘I Haven’t Been Served Any Lawsuit’

Fordjour Asserts No Court Documents Have Been Delivered Amid Lawsuit Rumors

Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, Member of Parliament for Assin South, has dismissed reports claiming he has been served with a lawsuit allegedly filed by South Dayi MP, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor.

In a statement released on Thursday, May 16, 2025, Rev. Ntim Fordjour expressed his astonishment at the media coverage suggesting that legal action had officially been initiated against him.

“I’ve seen the reports circulating about an alleged lawsuit from Hon. Dafeamekpor,” he stated. “However, I want to make it clear that I have not received any formal court documents.”

Rev. Ntim Fordjour, who also holds the position of Ranking Member on Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee, labeled the reported lawsuit as baseless and politically motivated.

“This seems to be nothing more than a political distraction,” he said. “I’m unfazed by this supposed legal maneuver. Once the alleged suit is formally served, I will respond in due course and expose its lack of substance.”

His comments follow rising speculation in the media about a possible legal clash between the two MPs, though specifics of the alleged case remain undisclosed.
