Bawku Solution a Priority: IGP and CDS Meet and Reaffirm Resolve
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno and the Police Management Board (POMAB) hosted Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Major General William Agyapong at the National Police Headquarters on Monday, April 14, 2025.
This marked Major General Agyapong’s first official visit to the police headquarters since his appointment as CDS. The visit was highlighted by a Guard of Honour parade in his honour.
During their meeting, the IGP and CDS pledged to strengthen collaboration between the police and military in tackling national security issues, with a particular focus on the ongoing conflict in Bawku.
