E\R:Step mother physically abuses step-son for allegedly stealing family fish for cooking dinner

The incident happened at Apengusu a town located in the Asuogyaman district yesterday where a woman called Mrs. Ama Fosu ( 45years) assaulted her step son( Joseph) at age 5years of the offense of stealing a fish bought to prepare meal.

According to the Mrs. Ama, yesterday evening when she returned from farm, she tried to prepare some meal for the family and in the process, she find out that the fish she bought to prepare the meal was missing and when she asked the children, she was told it was her step son who stolen the fish and consume it so with anger, she use can on him but denied of putting the boys foot on hot object but the boy said, after his step mother beat him severe, she put his foot on hot stone.

A good Samaritan took the child to clinic and the step mother was hand over to the police.

We are told the boys father travel out of town so was not around before the incident happened.
