Women advised to stop asking men for financial favours

The Sumankwaahemaa of Nsuatre in the Bono Region, Nana Abenaa Kyeraa Kentenbutu Dwedom, has urged women to avoid seeking financial favours from men and instead strive to become self-reliant.

According to the queen mother, it is inappropriate for women who can engage in business to rely on others for financial support, which can become a burden.

The Queen Mother believes that many marriages and relationships face financial challenges because women have become too dependent on their partners.

She advised women to venture into trade or acquire skills training, enabling them to earn an income and support their partners.

Nana Abenaa Kyeraa Kentenbutu Dwedom emphasized that entrepreneurship is key to becoming self-employed and urged women to avoid dependency and instead generate their own income.

She shared her thoughts exclusively with Kaakyire Kwasi Afari at the Youth Innovation Circles, Pitch, and Demo Day organized by Wan-Hive Ghana in Sunyani on Tuesday.
