Dr. Amagashie Urges Mahama to Support Herbal Medicine Practitioners

The Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Amagashie Spiritual Herbal Center, Apostle Dr. Samuel Amagashie, has urged His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to prioritize and support herbal medicine practitioners in Ghana.
According to him, the government spends huge sums of money importing foreign medicines, yet local herbal practitioners receive little or no support despite their significant contributions to healthcare. He, therefore, called on the government to invest in the herbal industry by establishing a Herbal Nursing Training College to train more professionals in the field.
“We, the herbal practitioners, are here to promote the well-being of Ghanaians, but we do not receive the necessary backing from the government. Establishing a Herbal Nursing Training College will help train more professionals and expand the industry,” he said.
He was speaking to media today when he was Awarded at the Media and Entrepreneurship prominence 2024 Awards Ceremony at the Rotary Park in Kumasi
