The Opinto Herbal Tea, produce by the Kwayisi Christian Herbal Clinic near Suhum in the Eastern Region is among the nine other herbal drugs approved by the Mampong Centre for Sciencetific into Plant Medicine for the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
The Opinto Herbal Tea according to the Centre is recommended as a key Herbal drug in the fight against the outbreak.
The authorities at the Centre after their thorough examinations have noted that the Opinto Herbal Tea is a major immune booster drug.
In expressing his joy over the news to the media yesterday, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kwayisi Christian Herbal Clinic, Dr. Emmanuel Ampem Darko, was confidence the well researched drug would help fight the disease.
The doctor who has received several awards owing to his work  thanked the authorities at the the Centre for their recommendation of the product.
He called on the Ghanaian populace to embrace the product for fight against the deadly disease.
Dr. Darko stated that his outfit can produce a maximum of over 10,000 boxes daily if they are been supported with supports from the government for the fight.
He seized the opportunity and called on Ghanaians to adhere to all directives given by the government in fighting the outbreak.
The CEO whose centre is world wide recognised as a place for the treatment of stroke and other health challenges noted that the coronavirus is dangerous and should be treated with seriousness.
He called on corporate bodies to assist government in its quest of addressing the menace.
The also pleaded with government to reconsider its decision of going for Madagascar herbal product which was recently reported as a cure for the virus and rather empower the Ghanaian herbal doctors.
