Ghana premier league club Accra Hearts of Oak have extended a goodwill message to their bitterest local rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko who are set to face Kenya’s Kariobangi Sharks in the 2018/2019 CAF Confederations Cup.

Despite reports that some fans of the Phobians are willing to help the Kenyan side oust the Porcupine Warriors, the Rainbow club have broken ranks with their fan base by tweeting their support for their arch rivals.

Asante Kotoko are transiting Ethiopia en route to Kenya on Tuesday, 11 December 2018 ahead of the first leg clash slated for the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi on Friday, 14 December 2018 before the return leg at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday, 22 December 2018.
